В это статье я расскажу как работать с аудио и видео файлами.

Работа с аудио файлами:

Иногда встречаю вопросы на форумах типа «как проиграть mp3 файл в C#?», авторам этих вопросов зачастую советуют использовать Windows API или сторонние библиотеки, однако все намного проще! Существует класс Audio из пространства имен Microsoft.DirectX.AudioVideoPlayback, для проигрывания аудио-записей записей различного формата. Давайте разберем код.

Подключаем необходимую библиотеку:
using Microsoft.DirectX.AudioVideoPlayback;

Далее создаем экземпляр класса Audio:
Audio player = new Audio(file_path);

где file_path — путь к файлу.

И проигрываем сам файл:
player.Play();

Чтобы изменить громкость, необходимо обратиться к свойству Volume
player.Volume = 0;


Примечания:
1. Свойство Volume принимает значения от -10000 до 0.
2. По умолчанию библиотека Microsoft.DirectX.AudioVideoPlayback отсутствует в проекте, по этому ее нужно добавить вручную (%Profect_name% — Add Referense — Microsoft.DirectX.AudioVideoPlayback)

Кстати, раз уж мы говорим о работе со звуком, то позвольте Вам рассказать про еще один класс: SpeechSynthesizer из пространства имен System.Speech.Synthesis — он воспроизводит аудио звуки по тексту.

Подключаем библиотеку:
using System.Speech.Synthesis

Создаем экземпляр класса SpeechSynthesizer и воспроизводим звук по тексту:
SpeechSynthesizer synth = new SpeechSynthesizer();
synth.SpeakAsync("Hello world");


Работа с видео файлами.

Класс Video из того же пространства имен Microsoft.DirectX.AudioVideoPlayback отвечает за работу с видео файлами. Все аналогично как и для класса Audio.

Это не статья, мне это напоминает заметку. И интересно посмотреть на другие способы использующие сторонние библиотеки или WinAPI, возможно, они получше будут, чем скачивать 220 мб.? Интересно, просто.
